Lookbook: Le Chic Sport

Hi my loves!! It’s the last day of 2014 and also my very last post of 2014! It’s been a whirlwind this year, there were highs and lows, I was working full time and also worked on my blog. My blog didn’t progress as much as I had wanted it to, due to some hosting issues and me losing almost 2 years worth of content and also the fact that I worked full time. As we all like to say, 2015 is going to be different! I have many exciting projects lined up and I have many travel plans for next year! I feel that for the first time in my life, I’m finally free and able to do what I really want to do, my priority for 2015 is my blog and also myself. I’ve always been a girl who likes to take care and maintain myself but I don’t feel it’s enough anymore, I’m going to improve myself and be the best possible version of myself! Which means, I’ll be spending more time on doing things that make me happy, like going to the gym eating healthy, it will no longer be something on the side for me, it will be my main priority.

For my last lookbook post for 2014, I wanted to do something fun and sporty. I purchased this cropped sweater from H&M in New York. The fabric is rather hard to describe, I would say it falls between plastic and cotton? The moment I saw this at the store, it caught my eye and hundreds of images wen through my head on how to possibly dress this sweater. I paired it up with riding pants from Zara, which is almost like a scuba diving suit material and heels. Finishing it off with a pair of nude heels from Aldo just completes the look and turns it from normal to chic. Of course, I couldn’t leave the house without my trusted Michael Kors sling bag!

Hope you all have a wonderful and safe New Years and may 2015 be full of positivity and prosperity for all! 🙂

Lookbook: Black Sunset

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! I’m sure there’s no need for a reminder but we are exactly 10 days away from Christmas and 16 days from the New Year! We went to Bloemfontein this past weekend for a friend’s wedding, we left on Friday at about 4pm and came back on Sunday at about 4pm. I haven’t been on a road trip in a while and driving to Bloem and back during sunset reminded me how remarkable our country is. It was so beautiful, we couldn’t resist stopping over and taking some photos.

I’ve been always been very fond of lace and black lace is so flattering for so many body shapes, which is why I absolutely adore this black lace blouse I purchased from Forever 21 in New York. You can wear it up and down, I chose to go in between 🙂 Hope you enjoy the photos!

What I’m wearing:

Forever 21 blouse from New York

Country road trousers

Zara heels

Tiffany and Pandora accessories

Vivienne Westwood sunnies
