Hi everyone! If you’re in the Johannesburg area over the weekend, you should definitely go to the Fourways Farmers Market that is situated in Fourways, opposite Monte Casino. Thanks to my gorgeous friend Kath for suggesting such a great summery place for us to chill this past Sunday!
I’ve always loved outdoor vibes, such as the Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock, Cape Town, also the Neighbourgoods Market in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. The Fourways Farmers Market is by far the best one I’ve been to, the market is relatively big, there are areas under trees that you and your friends can sit and enjoy a cocktail or two. The food stalls are absolutely divine, very similar to the type of stalls you get the Neighbourgoods and Old Biscuit Mill. If you go, I would recommend going in the morning at 10, their opening times is every Sunday from 10am to 3pm. If you go any later, it would be almost impossible to find a good place to sit and enjoy your food and drinks. We arrived at about 10:30am and the parking was already full so we had to park in Monte and walk across, which isn’t too bad. Make sure you wear a good pair of sunnies and a sun hat, it can get quite hot there. Enjoy and have fun! 🙂
