Hi loves! It’s almost the weekend! Yay! 🙂 Many of you have been asking me for a haul for all the beauty products I bought in Hong Kong, if you’ve missed my previous post Korean Beauty Haul 2015 – click here. I didn’t go to Korea but I decided to separate my beauty haul into 2 parts, mainly because it’s just too many things in one post and also I wanted to separate the Korean brands and the others. As promised, here is the rest of the beauty products I bought in Hong Kong, I decided to leave out the face masks because there’s just too many products, but if you’re interested in seeing me use all the products I bought, I’ll be uploading them on Snapchat so follow me – @lovemarylu 🙂
I’m not sure if you’re fans of Maybelline products but I bought so many Maybelline products at the Maybelline store in Hong Kong! If you don’t know, Maybelline products vary between countries so some things that you get in Hong Kong are very different to what you can get here. I also feel that Maybelline products sold in Hong Kong and China are more suitable for my skin (or Asian skin) so although I don’t generally buy Maybelline products here in SA, I like to try their products when I go overseas. This is the Maybelline Pure Mineral CC Cream, I did take a swatch when I was at the store, it basically comes out white and adapts to your skin colour. I’ll let you all know how I like it when I start using it. I’m really trying to finish my BB creams before I open up a new one.
I absolutely loves this Maybelline Babyskin Instant Pink Transformer, you can use this product alone or under a BB cream or foundation. It’s a light lotion with pink pigments, which is perfect to illuminate your face without it looking oily. It may look pretty similar to the Etude House Face Blur from my previous post but the texture is very different. This is much light compared to the Face Blur and plus the Face Blur is more of a primer and doesn’t have light reflecting pigments.
Many of you already know about this product, it’s the Maybelline Babyskin Pore Eraser, I personally love this product! I always buy a few tubes when I go to Hong Kong because I know that you can’t get them here in South Africa. Again, you can use this product either on it’s own or under a BB cream or a foundation, it basically minimise the look of your pores or skin in general. It can feel oily as it has a silicone texture to it but I think it works pretty great!
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that eyeliner is my life (sorry not sorry). I’m obsessed with the Maybelline Hyper Sharp Laser Precision Eyeliner (the one of the right) and I always purchase about 3 or 4 every time I go to Hong Kong, just to make sure it lasts me about a year. I love that it’s super dark and pigmented, he’s a brush tip, which makes drawing the line so much easier and more precise. The Maybelline Hyper Sharp Wing (the one on the left) recently came out in Hong Kong, the applicator is also a brush but it is slanted to allow you to draw thicker line.
I haven’t used any other makeup remover besides the Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleasing Oil for about 3 years now. I got the Maybelline Clean Express Miracle Water as a free gift with my many purchases at Maybelline. I’m pretty excited to try it!
This and a few others are my favourite mascaras of all time! There’s a drugstore/beauty store all over Hong Kong called Sasa and they have their own line of cosmetics with cute packaging called Sasatinnie, this is by far one of the best mascaras I’ve ever used. I always go back for more! AND it’s made in Italy 🙂
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I LOVE my eyelashes, I love falsies and the different effects it has on your eye makeup. I always like to purchase my lash glue from Hong Kong because they sell many great Korean and Japanese brands. What’s great about these lash glues, besides their lasting power is that the applicator is a small brush ensuring a no-mess application.
I was supposed to insert this into my previous post but I totally forgot that I bought this! It’s a refill for my Etude House Anycushion Precious Mineral, it’s basically a BB cream but in a tub form and it’s refillable. You apply it with the gift sponge that it comes with (mine is a little dirty) but they also sell those in Etude House too.
Again, I totally forgot that I bought this! It’s the Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream, the colour matched me perfectly before I went to the Philippines but since I went 3 shades darker from tanning, this is currently a little too light for me so I’ll just be putting this away for a while until winter 🙂
I hope you enjoyed this post! Remember, if you have snapchat, follow me 🙂 Have a great weekend!
