Happy Monday my loves! Where did the first two months of this year go?? I cannot believe how quickly this year is going and now we’re in March already! It’s my birthday month and since my birthday is at the end of the month, I generally do something throughout the month to celebrate my birthday and spoil myself a little (live every birthday like it’s your last) 🙂 I keep changing my mind about what I want to do on my actual birthday, initially E and I were going to go overseas for my birthday but now work (duty) calls so we might not be able to go so early for our trip! I’m not too sad though because I’ve been away for almost a month and I felt so home sick and I missed my bed so much!
While we were in Cape Town last month, we paid a little day visit to Hidden Valley Wine Estate and to my (favourite) restaurant Overture. E and I discovered this restaurant almost 4 years ago when he took me there for our 1 year anniversary and I absolutely loved it. Since then, we try to go every time we are in Cape Town. The menu is different every time we go and the wine pairing is just stunning. It honestly feels like a private dining experience even though when you are there, the restaurant is likely to be full or busy. The staff are very attentive, the food is always gorgeous and colourful and the view is just breathtaking. We took some photos of the food and the restaurant itself, and took photos for a lookbook post but I’ll leave that to another post later this week. 🙂
